There are two former Test players in the Lions team that Bodi played for, though neither have played for years, and various other scattered around the franchises.

Have they named them?

Didn't feel it was right to name those players, as it would have been pure speculation based only on the fact they were teammates of Bodi, but Tsolekile was one of the two players and he has now been named. The second will probably be named soon.

There seems to be a never ending line of corruption stories coming from across all sports recently.

The words 'governance' and 'administration' may be boring to many, but the lack of quality, robustness and accountability in these areas lie at the heart of the current problems in international sport.

Unless there is sufficient reason for players to turn their backs on this sort of activity, i.e. you're career is over, then this will continue to happen. Seeing Butt, an international captain who ring led fixing, welcomed back to domestic cricket hardly acts as a deterrent now does it.

Bodhi gets a 20 year ban. Firstly a really odd number, what is the point of a 20 year ban over a life ban? Secondly, odd that he appears not to have even attempted to give a defence.

Can't remember who suggested it - think it might have been Atherton - but there was talk that the ICC try to give proportionate bans so a life ban for the most serious offence and lesser charges for lesser 'crimes' In this instance the player admitted guilt and the proposed fixing was supposedly discovered before it could take place. So even though 20 years is effectively a life ban it is technically a lesser 'sentence'

I'm not sure how banning a cricket player on the basis of placing a couple of small stake bets is seen as protecting the integrity of the game, especially when said player had no influence on the outcome.

We discussed this when the other Aus cricketer was banned for a similarly small amount of gambling.

My view was that a line needs to be drawn somewhere, and wherever it is, people will complain/think it unjust when it has JUST been crossed.

It is not as if she hasn't had plenty of warning. They get very regular advice on this, and then she had the example of Reakes to really highlight it for her.

Silly mistake on Cleary's behalf.

Mervyn Westfield has been cleared to return to Second XI cricket despite still being banned until later next year. Can't agree with this, the lad has served penal time for fixing but the PCA have campaigned to get him back in the game early. How can cricket stamp out fixing when players who have been to jail for it are welcomed back?

Reports that the ICC anti corruption junket have interception a programme of fixing from an unnamed international side and that penalties will follow.

Any guesses?

No! Too much to hope that it was Mohammed Amir. That's a shame.

Talk of Pakistan wanting to select Butt again. Surely that would be the death of the credibility of Pakistani cricket.
