Better than Dhawan tbh.

Red Devil wrote:At the moment, if we could ignore the squad choices and think of a side for the WC, I would be looking at ...
Vijay
Rohit
Rahane
Kohli
Raina
Dhoni
Jadeja
Axar / Ashwin
Bhuvi / Shami
Kulkarni
Ishant
Vijay ahead of Dhawan and Rayudu is a no brainer.
Ishant is in because he gave some control at times in the test series, which is more than any other seamer managed. Kulkarni played for the A team in Aus not that long ago and did really well so we should give him a go in the warm-ups at least. If Kulkarni proves to be out of his depth then we probbaly play Bhuvi and Shami.
Bhuvi and Shami have been the bedrocks of the bowling in the last 18 months or so, but Bhuvi hasn't done too well since he came back from injury (not much to go on so hopefully he'll play the next couple of games and get back into his groove) while Shami has bowled some real rubbish in the tests, just hasn't done great in aus at all.
Umesh and Aaron have been huge disappointments - I had high hopes for them before the Aus tour started but they've been appalling - and please let's forget about Mohit and Binny.
