Bit of a pasting. McCarthy, four overs for 69.

Most expensive spell in T20 internationals. I'd even back myself to not concede that many.

A run worse than Kyle Abbott, with our own Jimmy the Saint in third- though they took a wicket each.

Bloody hell.

OK from the batters. I guess the outfield wasn't expansive.

18 wickets in last 4 games.

Afghanistan are playing some really good cricket. Have West Indies next up and will give them a run for their money.

India letting Afghanistan use their grounds for ODIs goes a long way to preparing them for Test status in my opinion.

While it's incredibly positive to see a Test side of India's status providing support to an upcoming associate side, the cynic in me see this as ground work for an ICC vote in the bag later on.

Quite an impressive looking batting chase for Ireland in the last game.

The four day game will be interesting, with Ireland having played far more fc cricket, but Afghanistan having the best spinner on either side on late season pitches.

Afghanistan and india get on well, think the cricket was a sweetener in some political deals.
pretty much a win win situation for India and BCCI.
