anti bcci propaganda or what? Has he forgotten IPL 1 and all the fuss about English players not being available for it?

Or am I being an ass?

Apparently, BCCI and CA are still discussing having a 2 test/3 ODI series instead of the 7 match ODI later this year. I really hope they come to an agreement about it. Who wants another 7 ODI series? I like ODI's but that is too much.

Agreed, it would be far better to get some tests in rather than ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...ODI...

Agree guys, but I feel the timing is wrong, 7 ODI's against the best ODI team in the world before the world cup could have given quite a lot of experience to our ODI team.

I think 7 is too much, mabe 5 ODI's and that's that.

As it is India are I think the nation(or one of the two) who play the most tests (at least in the last decade)

I think I've been largely unaware of what's been happening in the world of cricket for the last couple of months. Has it been as quiet as it feels, or is it just me?

Can't really say I was distracted by the football world cup since I didn't watch much of it.

Link to a very good article on whether it is right to cut down on the number of associate teams playing in the 2015 WC.

I have fully recovered from the hamstring injury i suffered about two years back caused due to an incorrect dive to save my wicket from run out. The hamstring used to get pulled while in sleep causing severe pain for about 15 seconds. Cardio exercises has cured it in two weeks time. :dance

Iain O'Brien has had his appeal to stay in the country as a Kolpak player turned down.

Here's a funny article by Angus Fraser, that probably adds a sense of perspective to the Ponting-smashes-TV saga....

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/cric ... 5993.html#

He cites previous examples including Mike Gatting, Justin Langer, Mike Roseberry, Mike Atherton, Mark Ramprakash, and, of course, Nasser Hussain....

'It was during a Test against the West Indies in Trinidad and after Hussain unluckily lost his wicket he returned to the dressing rooms at Queen's Park Oval. They were basic and had lockers with flimsy, slatted wooden doors. In came Hussain, who threw his bat down and, cursing his luck, punched a locker door and put his fist through it. I put my head down and quietly started strapping on my pads. But Hussain, through gritted teeth, muttered: "Can someone come over here and *modded* help me?" The wooden slats had pinched around his wrist forming a vice-like grip. It was like a venus fly trap with all the sharp bits pointing in. With Hussain getting angrier by the second I went over and, trying to suppress laughter that was making me cry, I slowly and delicately helped him remove his hand from the door. The job was completed with just a couple of scratches – but I don't remember getting even a thank you once it had been removed.'
:lmao
In the end, I totally agreed with the last paragraph of that story....

Those two pics remind me of nets practice while the coach gave slip fielding training.
