Interesting tweet from Colly asking what constitutes a clean catch.
·

How can that be no out @JasonRoy20 has got his finger underneath the ball!! Don’t people realise that grass is longer than the depth of your finger being squeezed into the turf but he’s caught the ball!! @ICC need to look at this

Crushing win for Afghanistan. 333-5 is easily Afghanistan's highest score against a top ten side, beating 271-6 v Zimbabwe in 2015. Their four best scores at this level are against Zimbabwe.

4-26 for Rashid. Too good.

Never seen him bowl. Hope he doesn't have a dodgy action.

I didn't see anything during the BBL that make me look closer - I wasn't looking for anything though.

Nair did look a bit suss.

His googly sometimes look a bit dodgy but think it's almost impossible for a leg spinner to be called for chucking.

True about the leggie, but limited overs bowlers these days normally have a lot of unorthodox variations that don't come out the back of the hand. Adil Rashid bowls a lot of deliveries that come out the front of the hand, much moreso in limited overs..

Afghanistan 333/5
Zimbabwe 179
Afghanistan win by 154 runs

2nd ODI
Zimbabwe 333/5
Afghanistan 179
Zimbabwe win by 154 runs

The same grounds get Ashes Tests in 2023 as in 2019: Edgbaston, Headingley, The Oval, Lord's and Old Trafford.

A bit surprised the ECB haven't thought to expand the series to 6 or 7 Tests.
