No Slapsy Maxie, no Handscom, no-one called Richardson. The Sandpaper Three are still out and Cummins and Haze still missing. And Queenslander Joe Burns.

A place for a couple of South Africans and the Yorkshire lad though...

british indian fans are going back to the dark days when Asian channel are showing india home games.

Although we not even getting that now either, no all india home games + IPL are on Hotstar, star subscription service.

Not a big fan of this, if india goes out of Sky then no Asian games will be shown on normal tv unless england play.

Very odd. I thought Sky must get a lot of subscriptions through covering India games.

When I stopped subscribing they seemed to be covering fewer NZ and WI home games. Which were good to watch in UK time, for part of the play at least. Suppose hardly anyone is watching.

isn't sky fault really since they couldn't compete with Star Sports who are now buy rights globally now and instead of giving the rights away cheaply to sky or bt sports they decided to from their own subscription.

don't really like it since Sky started showing indian home cricket, the perception of asian cricket changed now, the old stereotypes of asian cricket changed now and having the cricket live on tv helped to changed that.
now with india gone, uk viewers will see limited cricket of asian cricket again.
Sky coverage of cricket is quite poor now if they lose india, only got England, NZ, SA and WI and only really two nations that are big, 2/3 of the big 3 teams not on sky as well now.

ah well.... this is the devil at work through pay to view. suck you in then, very gradually to suck you in further, find another 10 broadcasters to buy chunks, leaving you with several big bills every month.

I found the best thing to do was say "*modded* it", "stick it up your arse", and "not in my name"

the madness has to end here

after a while you find that there is more to life than dossing around in front of the telly all day watching the cricket

there's a big old world out there waiting to be explored.... 'keep on the grass' and 'do not feed the broadcasters'

I am, disappointingly, Mersea Reagan

Mersea Reagan sounds more like a female US daytime tv news magazine anchor.

Surprisingly can't remember last time I went to the coast... which is frustrating. Possibly Weymouth Kennedy.

I like this - "Falmouth Clinton with the new ball at Sabina Park"

Watching the JLT on live feed, and the commentators keep going back to footage of Smith and Warner playing club cricket. I know there was some speculation that there might need to be a period of some sort of re-integration for them to get back into the Aussie side.... maybe (in Warner's case) the ball tampering might prove to be career ending, but based on the commentators comments, and the general popping in the pants over their return to club cricket, I reckon they'll be back in the Aussie side as fast as a flimsy veneer of decency will allow

and judging by the reaction of the crowds watching them play in their respective matches, I reckon the public will be happy for them to come back quickly too

Been very impressed with Rohit in the Asia Cup. Think we sometimes forget just how good he is. He is also technically a better captain than Kohli in my mind.
