Scott Boswell bowling probably in the C and G final in 2001. He may have been affected by the slope at Lords but whatever it was just have a look at the over. It surely ended his career.

Yeah, quite a few inexperienced WIndies bowlers had trouble coming to grips with the slope at Lords....

My kid brought home a nice little activity book from cricket on Saturday. It has a word search, things like that, and a page where you can colour the flags of the test-playing nations. The Windies were given Jamaica! They did footnote that many nations go to make up the West Indian side, but they could at least have gone for
:WI !!!

I consider it a bonus that he can now tell the difference between the Aus and NZ flags. If it was the Union Jack instead of St George he would recognise that the most readily! Actually, the colouring page has not held much interest. The "Where's Wally" like crowd scene has been the most popular - we have finally found the fifth ninja! When cricket takes off in Japan, he'll be ready.

Despite our win SL almost choked today...a bit of luck after a long long time happened to us today.

Impressed with the newcomer Randiv's performance today..three wickets at a good average against this Indian team shows his talent. Mendis bowled very well as well.

Matthews and Dilshan were awesome,so was Dhoni and Suresh Raina.. :thumb

Good cricket allround from both teams so far in the odi series...I wish all three remaining matches will be exactly like the first two..

Haha, Bozzy's my friend's cousin. Went to the same school as me!! He is the reason that I know the gulf in talent between good school cricketer and county pro. He was a by far the school's star player. Scored tons a plenty with the bat and took hatfuls of wickets at what seemed like lightning pace. He ended up batting 9/10 and bowling a trundling medium pace!!! Amazing really.

He is one of two "professional" bowlers I've faced. The other being a young Tim Bresnan. Survived an over of Boswell well beyond his prime, got comprehensively bowled 2nd ball by a 15 year old Bresnan. No mean feat surviving that one ball though, I feel, given he made his first class debut less than a year later!!!
