Well, Rohit's IPL credentials have never been in doubt. Its at international level where he often bottles it. That knock against Pak was good though.
Still think Manoj is a better player.

I think they are both good players. I think Rohit's better although i do think Manoj should have got more of a chance.

When on song, Rohit looks quality. But I dont think his defence or temperament is good enough to sustain him in tough conditions.

Being a natural striker of the cricket ball is a huge advantage for him.

He's back in the team and in prime form of his international career thus far. Hope he maintains this form on overseas wickets on South Africa tour .

He was talked of as the next Sachin early in his career, would be excellent timing for India if he really kicked on from Sachin's farewell and his debut!

Rohit Sharma LOOKS a good player on Indian wickets against ordinary bowlng .

If he has a good tour of South Africa on their wickets against much better bowling then he IS a good player

we will have to wait and see. One of the comments has always been that he handles short pitched bowling better than other Indian batsmen, but we'll have to see how he copes with seaming wickets

264 followed by another double and now 150 in warmup match today versus Afghanistan. All three 150 scores coming within space of two years apart. This regular habit of scoring massive ODI innings from one opener is a great plus. If he remains fit for this WC, then he will easily give enough cover for our very weak bowling attack.
