37/4 and he hasn't been on yet. Thankfully off for bad light now!

Just as well, we might well have been following on by the scheduled close of play.

:lmao Yep! We've recovered from first innings disasters before but if we concede a big first innings lead here it might be impossible to turn this one around.
I wonder if the first session was as bad as the lasr one - wickets tumbled after lunch and yet in murky morning conditions we only managed one wicket. They probably should been out for well under 150.

we've had late order rallies before. Sometimes a Durham collapse is exactly what earns us the win, because it leaves loads of time in the game to get a result... and we haven't lost one for a while

worth repeating... we aren't ready for promotion, imo, so if we lose then I won't be too worried... although if it's Sussex and Gloucs who go up because they only had to play Lancs once, I won't be too thrilled.

Good news is we have passed 50.
Bad news is it's for the loss of 6 wickets!

131

thank goodness for Eckersley and Raine and then some 10th wicket boundary hitting from Salisbury and Rushy, or we could easily have crashed out for about 70

work to do this afternoon

Rossington's knock is the difference between the 2 sides, which is the way things were at the start of the season.

Hopefully confidence will be higher than it was back then

There have been some unlikely comebacks in the past so anything is possible but realistically I think we need them out for no more than 150 in the second innings.

3 expensive overs from Carse and Salisbury but the latter has got rid of Wakely. 54/3 and I think this potential opening needs to be taken. Another 2 quick wickets might provoke a Durham style collapse. Although the lead of 140 might already be enough!

Carse going for plenty again. The lead will soon become unmanageable at this rate!
