Potts only bowled 3 overs in the second innings of the last match, so my guess is that he's injured, or being protected. That being said he was only ever meant to play 5 of these matches and he has played 5, so maybe this was pre-planned anyway

Bazza and Ben would not approve. Pujara dropping an anchor and grinding out a innings. Started to push a move on now though, playing some blinding shots in this evening session.

Is there a better batsman than David Bedingham in county cricket right now? Plenty of batters have scored massive totals on roads or against funny balls, but Bedingham has just scored 3 consecutive hundreds (4 in total) on pitches where nearly everyone else has had a torrid time.

Everytime I tune in to watch him, he fails. So for the good of everyone at DCCC, I will stay well away for now ...

Both divisions dominated by Saffers.... Colin Ingram has been smashing apart Division 2. Made our bowlers look like amateurs at Sophia Gardens the other week

Don't think Pujara has scored a run in 35 minutes yet. Middlesex are keeping this bowling tight, and Bamber had a couple of lovely balls that fizzed past the bat of Pujara.

Appears that Bamber has been working out in the gym and remodelled his action, I guess to add a bit of pace. Looking quite buff nowadays when in the past he looked like malcolm in the middle bowling. A lot more upper chest/shoulder in the action now...

The only ground that had the speed gun on was Sophia Gardens, but it would be interesting to see if he has added pace. Doesn't appear so that much, but the game at Glamorgan was enlightening about the pace people were bowling. Although some of the readings were so slow, I debated if it was right.... Kervelas for instance looked pretty quick, but the speedo had him in the high 60s, which is very, very slow. So I would imagine it was wrong.

he bowled really well today. 10 overs on the trot, decent pace, looked sprightly throughout and constantly asked questions of the batters

If he could remember how to buy a run he'd be in good shape for the test series. Averaging under 7 for his 3 knocks
