10 over thrash and 128 feels like a decent effort. Hard to tell though, suppose we'll get an indication after the Lancs power play.

sure has

stuffed!

It's all we've deserved this campaign. When you're down, even the weather puts the boot in.

I just hope we didn't drop Livingstone at any stage.

Not that it matters, this season is just us reverting to type

Even we worried about our batting depth from the very start of the campaign, so surely the management must have seen it too. We hit fours in a 10 over shoot out and Lancs hit sixes. It's just maths. T20 has always been an exercise in mathematics. We used to concede 10 an over on average and so we were always chasing 200. Now we hit a few more fours, and they hit treble our sixes. No calculator required when trying to work that out

4 defeats on the spin.... it's like a stroll down a well worn path

Livingstone hard to contain when he's in the zone. But another defeat, choosing to bat first probably didn't help- but chances are we'd have been chasing a lot more than 129 in any case so it probably made little difference!

Yes, just not enough power hitting. Ackermann dropped Livingstone but it was a tough chance. Another big difference was Luke Wood only going for 2 runs in hos first over!

That's the concern. It wouldn't be the first time a poor T20 campaign led to a downturn in CC form.

although Parky took 1-7 off our first over

I think it was the 19 in the one after that set the tone

how many did Aldridge go for in his second.... 25 or something?

Think so. A single and four sixes.
