It's a 5.30 start- we're unchanged and batting.

I'd forgotten it was an early start. Not sure what a par score is but with 5 overs to go it doesn't look great!

Another very poor display! Stokes appears to have had a bit of a nightmare.
After such a good start the last 2 games have been hammerings- I didn't see any of the play but the scorecards don't lie. Pretty hard to know what has gone wrong but whatever it is needs sorting pretty quickly.

well, it's the bowling by the looks of it. Failure to defend 179. The previous game was a bit of a dogs dinner, but at least they posted a defendable score if not a big score.

Too many seamers going around the park. Stokes and Potts the main culprits in the last 2 and I wouldn't normally expect that from either

at least we finally have Raine in the right place in the batting order.... took a while

I suppose there is no possibility of mixing and matching the team up with the covid situation. We basically have 11 players to choose from whether we like it or not. Them's the breaks atm

At least Yorks got a hammering and Notts had to settle for a tie. Still plenty of games to go

Dickson has done well recently, so we promoted Borthwick and Carse ahead of him, let him come on with 2 overs to go and told him to fill his boots

I'm struggling to work this all out

what the devil are we playing at? Is Dickson not fit and we have nobody to replace him?

It's mainly by bowling Borthwick. Whenever we build pressure, he comes on and relieves it.

Been out and was expecting to see another defeat after assuming our total would be under par! A strange campaign - we lose when I expect to win and ( apart from Notts) vice versa.
Stokes expensive again but I'd take that when he gets wickets & the partnership with Bancroft proved to be vital.
