It was Poytner who took the wonder catch but I'd agree on that final XI.

Yep and that catch was in the morning session ( I think ) and he was still keeping when I was there after lunch so either he'd just taken the gloves then or he was actually keeping throughout the innings - looking at the card that catch was in the 29th over so they probably had 25 overs each behind the stumps.

Yes he did. It does seem odd that he's not even in the squad. He was batting in the top 6 for a lot of 4 day games last year so he'd seem the most likely candidate to fill a batting slot even if he's not going to bowl a single over.

might be all over by then. Kent will opt to bowl, skittle us early afternoon, lose 5 cheap wickets themselves before going on to bat until tea on Sat, have us 7 or 8 down by COP, then the rain won't matter on Sunday because they'll find the half hour needed to complete an innings defeat

Yes, that scenario has a familiar ring to it! Presumably Matt Henry will be playing - I see his FC highest score is 75 not out so in addition to causing carnage with the ball he'll probably score his maiden century!
