Yep and that catch was in the morning session ( I think ) and he was still keeping when I was there after lunch so either he'd just taken the gloves then or he was actually keeping throughout the innings - looking at the card that catch was in the 29th over so they probably had 25 overs each behind the stumps.

How far is Pringle away from selection if he can't make a 13 man squad with such a small overall squad? And didn't he just sign a new contract at the end of last season?

Yes he did. It does seem odd that he's not even in the squad. He was batting in the top 6 for a lot of 4 day games last year so he'd seem the most likely candidate to fill a batting slot even if he's not going to bowl a single over.

might be all over by then. Kent will opt to bowl, skittle us early afternoon, lose 5 cheap wickets themselves before going on to bat until tea on Sat, have us 7 or 8 down by COP, then the rain won't matter on Sunday because they'll find the half hour needed to complete an innings defeat

welcome to the new season

You're not predicting a dibbly-dobbly 40something year old bowler from Kent is going to skittle our batting order? It's not as if we've got previous :aww

probably worth putting your house on it

I may pop along tomorrow at tea... if they still do the £5 entry

I should be there loitering somewhere!
I'm sure we'll be bowling at some stage tomorrow even if we bat first.

Harry Podmore. He was the one who played some second team cricket for us last year?

One and the same. Had surgery during the winter and has apparently gained pace. A reject returns-You just know what's going to happen.

4/2! Markram for a duck and now Smith has gone - both out to Henry.

Stoneman and Borthwick are out for single figures too in a bad first hour for Durham batters.

Onions has a wicket though.
I always say that everybody's right.

Just got to the ground. 81/9. :horse
Presumably it must be impossible to bat so Rushy and Rimmo will skittle Kent out for under 100. ;)
