I rather think Bro Matt will get a new Lancs contract because he is a major part of their white ball set up. Bro Callum has fallen out with Leics big style and would probably be actively open to a move away.

I think you're right- he lost the captaincy because he turned down a contract extension.

I'm having a hard time keeping track of the various injuries to England bowlers, but I think Mark Wood has been MIA was down to paternity leave as opposed to injury?
If that's the case I wonder if he'll play in the CC game against Glamorgan? Surely will need some cricket before being considered for an Ashes test.

second child, I think. Not injured as far as I am aware

I think we have two hopes of him featuring for us.... No hope and Bob Hope

Perhaps an outside chance of him being allowed to play in a T20 or two, but I can't see them risking him in a 4 day game, not with the way the rest of the bowlers are dropping like flies. I heard Dobell the other day say that England have no worries about him being rusty, because he's gone into series undercooked before and then bowled a 95mph ball in his first over. I think England trust him to go away and do what he needs to do to be ready from the word go, without troubling Durham at all in the process

I think there was a hint of a rumour that he might have been about to turn out for Ashington the other day, but I don't think that materialised

Fair enough. If they're confident he can hit the ground running without a game for us I suppose they won't take any chances.
One stroke of luck is that Neser won't be available for Glamorgan at the weekend.

Worcs get to play Sussex on the only week that Pujara is unavailable. They must think Christmas has arrived early

Craig Miles from Warwickshire in for a 2 match CC loan period. Don't know anything about him but a good move to get a bowler in
