we keep bowling 8 ball overs

seemingly the reason we are using the T20I pitch from last week is because the pitch we were going to use got an absolute soaking while the T20 pitch was being protected. The T20 was actually at risk because so much of the outfield had great puddles all over it right up to the day before the game. Fortunately they managed to get everything dried out for that game, but the pitch intended for today was several days behind in the prep, so the decision was taken to use pitch 12 again..... hence the 2 spinners in the side

So far, Marcus North has raved about Natham McAndrew, commented that Australia have no tests between March and November, talked about the end of July being a natural cut off point for OS signings (ideal for Aussie cricketers to get a rest before their domestic season starts), so not difficult to see what the thought processes are for next year.

I didn't see the first 2 wickets, but the last 3 have all been about Sussex players losing patience and clubbing the ball straight to a fielder

who'd have thought that Pujara would lose patience? He was beaten all ends up by the ball before and nearly edged it behind, so he smacked the next ball hard and it flew straight to Clark

good bowling from the spin twins. FH-P raced to 24 off 25 balls, but has since only been allowed to score 1 run in 13 balls. Keep the pressure on him and he might give it away too
