Olly Stone released from the test squad so should be playing against us tomorrow. Crucial game and a tricky one especially with no Potts or Bedingham.

Bedingham is in the squad but seems as if he may not make it back from the Windies in time so Ashton Turner is in the squad as cover!

Campbell says McKinney will play but there are doubts over Ackermann- wife close to giving birth!

I saw that Bedders was in the squad and Turner too, but none of it made any sense to me

I think McKinney will play, but after that I have no idea. Could be anything. If there's no Ackers, then Borthwick might play 3 with McK opening. Bedders feels like a bit of a stretch, so Turner at 4 perhaps. Could be one of those rare occasions where both Bas and Coggers both play

Might have been a good toss to lose because conditions looked ideal for bowling...then the sun came out.
Perfect morning session but that lineup looks flimsy without Ackermann and Bedingham.

Hundred for Lees. Pretty rare for both openers to get a century in the same innings. Wonder when it last happened? Someone at the ground suggesting it might have been Tom Latham and Cameron Steel.

Notts will be gnawing on their own livers tonight.... putting us in and then watching us rattle along to 360-3. There is still 11 overs in the day, so we could/ought to be around 400 by the close

another failure for Clarky

a common feature in red ball cricket this season. He might find himself back on white ball duties next year with the new arrivals coming. Last season's success may have been an aberration
