Congratulations to Yorkshire. Hope they'll be de-mob happy and a bit careless when they come to Southampton!

Dreadful afternoon session. Probably need to take some early wickets to save our season as tomorrow looks like the best day for batting weather wise.

I was thinking the same. Dawson out last bowled! Shocking capitulation unless the catches to the keeper mean the ball is moving about a bit.

Apparently the 7th catch equalled the Somerset record, so the first class record must be higher.

Since lunch this has gone really badly. Could end up losing this with minimal bonus points, and our survival chances hanging by a thread.

I know you don't like/rate Gatting, but he has been our best batsman this season, deserves better

He has done surprisingly well this season and probably should have come in for Adams in this game but not sure he would have been able to prevent the after lunch debacle today.

Only chance we have from here is to bat for a very long time second innings, but with scoreboard pressure likely, I can't see it.

Can't see us getting rid of these two anytime soon. Is it going to be just one point from this match?

Today looks like a glorious one for batting and the Taunton pitch is probably as flat as a pancake right now. Probably will pass our score before they lose the first wicket. We're doomed!

It seems to be the latter on reflection.
