Yes and going at 10 an over throughout a tournament tends to suggest that you're not really a terribly good learner. Also I'd be a bit worried as a player if Newall rated me given his history in such matters

10 an over in T20 seems par for the course for us

except for last year, which is probably why we made it all the way to the final

there might be a lesson in there somewhere....... if only I had the wit to understand it

Wonder who will be handed the poisoned chalice that is the one day captaincy next year? Probably Latham or Will Smith, either one would be a safer pair of hands than Rocky or Coughlin!

Quite possibly although before he signed there was a rumour that the captaincy next year might be split between Collingwood and Latham.

Jack Burnham to be banned for 12 months after failing a drugs test according to the BBC. Obviously not performance enhancing ones!
It seems as if Durham are jinxed at the minute.

3 failed tests! He's lucky not to be given the sack.

DCCC need to issue a statement justifying that action. At present it looks as if Burnham is giving 2 fingers to the ban, having not needed 2 previous warnings, and Durham are condoning his behaviour.

Yep. It'll be a controversial decision , beggars belief really that he got caught out once and then did the same thing twice more. Only hope is that he has finally learned his lesson and will buck up - he's surely on his final warning now.

Bloody hell I've just heard about this.

What is going on with our club at present?

I guess that's another player we'll be without next year.

Seems to be some kind of gypsy curse on the club.

That statement looks like damage limitation - no hint of it being the third offence.

And we still await the results of the investigation into the collapsed stand!
