Ridiculous! And the chances of Coughlin staying fit for all remaining games must be fairly slim!

ah... the inexorable slide. one after the rain break, one more before tea. there'll be another couple straight after tea before an early finish and a drive back up the motorway with -12 points in the bag

I think that's exactly what is likely - although if that bat passed an earlier inspection during a previous game we might get away with losing points. Surely Maddinson would have assumed it was fine.
