Gordon has managed to screw over both his own team and Somerset.

Think Chris Woakes would have taken that slot, but if Big Boyd and Keith Barker are ruled out then either Recordo or Jones will probably play, unless Shoaib is back for finals day:

Chopra
Porterfield
Bell
Evans
Shoaib
Clarke
Ambrose
Javid
Woakes
Patel
Hannon-Dalby

Tough to only go with 2 seamers and Clarke for an early start, although a handy looking side for a 100 over old wicket in a possible final.

Very nervous game to watch from my point of view.

Thought Warks had it at the end until Gordon bowled that awful over.

Durham have qualified though so no worries.

Yes, most definitely. Not with every delivery, but quite a few. I was going to mention it myself.

I saw it last night and was shocked. On replays though I think his arm straightens at the point of delivery which I think makes it legal.

No, any straightening has to be complete by the time the arm is level with the shoulder, i.e. well before the point of delivery.

Aye but that's since they started tampering with the rules to appease Sri Lanka and the race lobby over Muri and Malinga's action.
I didn't see Gordon bowling but what was Chopra doing having an inexperienced kid bowling at that stage when someone as experienced as Rikki Clarke still had overs left-unless Clarke was injured?

I also couldn't understand why Clarke wasn't bowling at the death when he had 4 overs left. Gordon has played 6 games to Clarke's 193.

No, it's still in the laws of the game and still holds good.

The ICC fudge to keep them all in a job at the time of the Muralitharan controversy was to allow the maximum 15° degrees of flex but this still has to be completed before the arm is level with the shoulder.

I think Sky should ditch WASP.

It's totally useless.

Why wouldn't it be, it's based initially on gestimates by the commentators, after which an 11 year old adjust it's progress.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Ridiculous rule still in effect at Hampshire, tea bring taken 15 overs into the second innings in an OD match...

Only benefits us I guess.
