Sleeping off a night shift. Hard work for the Yorks bats also. Notts too good at TB.

Looks like a bowlers' day generally.

Jimmy the Saint warming up for the World Cup with ten overs, 1-27.

He hasn't played white ball cricket for two years, just keeping ticking over till the cc.

Mahmood must be the next called up for the ODIs but there is a long, long queue

e.g. Woakes Wood Willey Plunkett Stokes Curran Jordan Archer ..........Sam Curran...... Mahmood 18 at 14.83
I think Mahmood will be in the Lions XI that face the Australians in July which is a 4 day game. Hameed as well. Flower was at OT for the last match

So far
T Curran 6 at 10.50
Willey 5 at 32.40
Plunkett 7 at 32.43
Woakes 4 at 37.00
Jordan 2 at 74.00

all products of the Notty academy, you know

Given that it extends extends from Chester le Street to the south coast via Shrewsbury, Warrington and Leicester, it must surely rank as the biggest academy in the land

good luck to them, I say...... not many counties boast such an impressive production line of young players

:lmao

Don't think the Notts top 6 is all that good to be honest, just a bunch of sloggers who wait for the short ball and barely nurdle it around for singles. Had Yorkshire put something close to 300, Notts would have struggled to get over the line.

That's the sort of result which can carry you to the trophy. They must be feeling invincible now.

Huge game on Thursday, when they come to the Bowl.

Don't think so. Sky have Northants v Yorkshire on tomorrow and I can't spot any more games on the schedule until Monday , they have yet to confirm which match but it looks as if all of the fixtures that day are from the North Group.

Seven down and Coughlin retired hurt.

But in the other game, Middx going run crazy with a ton for Robson against high flying Somerset.

Day of the underdog.

Sounds like (another) nasty injury to Coughlin - pulled up going for a quick single and had to be stretchered off according to Notts twitter.

Big score set by Middlesex. They need to defend it to keep their hopes realistically alive.

Yorks reply delayed by rain

cue the dreaded DL revised target from something achievable to something that only Roald Dahl's imagination could have come up with

still ...... yorks should have benefited from Derby's revised target of 486 off 22 overs (or something equally ludicrous) last week, had they not been so tardy, so swings and roundabouts, I suppose

Watching it now in TV, rain looks set for a while and Yorkshire are 7 ahead of the DL par score. 128/1.

one of the drawbacks of crapinfo is that they don't tell you what the DL par score is in these situations.... so you have no idea until the match is declared over who is in pole position
