And now a highly unusual lower order partnership!
Without Trevaskis the batting looks even more flaky than usual- I'd be surprised if we get past 250 and not at all surprised if Leicestershire end up with a first innings lead.

that almost never happens

Matty P straight back in where he left off

I know this will jinx him immediately, but Jonesy has really grown into the season.

Marty reporting tweet from Rushy that he's out for the rest of the season.

it matters not, tbh. Season's dead and buried
Anyone else think that Parky is on for career best figures?

I'm surprised he hasn't run through us yet! Although seems I was overly pessimistic- we're going to get over 250 barring something extraordinary happening in the morning. Pity Jones fell just short of another hundred.

Coughlin didn't let you down, though
this is the period where the ball doesn't do a lot and we lost 2 quick wickets 10 overs before the new ball. Lose another couple early and the new ball will mop up the tail and our lead will be small. Too small, perhaps
Hey.... Maddo might bludgeon us to a commanding position

Looking at the table - something I didn't bother checking once it was obvious we were going nowhere. I'm actually quite surprised to see Leicestershire are 60 odd points behind us. Sussex 30 something in arrears too.

well.... there's nowt like a 13 fer for Matty P to remind the England selectors why they selected him in the first place, before rotating him out
even we can't lose this one
and the weather isn't set to interfere in our pursuit of the 54 runs we need tomorrow
and Scott Steele still can't get a *modded* game

At least Potts didn't come back with his morale/body shattered. Also, if you're a batsman and you can't get a game for Durham or Leicestershire, it's probably time to refresh the old CV...

I see young Stanley is out for the season too. In his case it's a bone stress injury (
)
now remind me.... who was he playing for before his injury?
