I've just got home. Started to get a bit peckish and there's only a barista van outside. I didn't fancy going inside to the members lounge

KP must be desperate for a wicket to fall. For a batter this is as good as it gets.... both strike bowlers out injured. the weaker bowlers have been bowled into the ground trying to get the shine off the ball and now Leics are down to Capt Ackers and a part time slowie. Should be a short final session because these two are rattling through the overs and we are milking them.

Only been one chance so far. Dickers top edged one high towards the pavilion and Welsh spilled it.

Jones started off brightly, looked to be timing the ball nicely, but then kind of got stuck for a few overs.... couldn't find the middle of his bat and his timing went to pot. Then out of the blue he middled a beauty straight into the stands and after that he was back on track

been a few sixes in this innings, which is good because we could do with having plenty of time to bowl them out

Declaration decision could be tricky, big advantage that their attack is depleted but, apart from the first session on day 1, this morning was the only one with regular wickets - and that was almost a one man show.
Currently going at about 5 an over, lead 286 and 22 overs left.

350 lead at this rate would give us around 7 or 8 overs at Leics tonight

would we be comfortable with 350 or would we want a few more than that?

I think that should be enough, 350 maybe not out of the question but they'd be worthy winners if they knocked them off.

I think they were, after the wicket they have come in.

They've all gone back to the boundary when Jones is on strike but coming in when it's KP!
