Fortunately seems to be easing off now.

It started before I left. Was in the members lounge and it suddenly started hammering down!

Proper batters. Proper bowlers. T20 requires skill, and a cool head, but it's still a relatively simple game.

Leave the bits-and-pieces cricketers to four day county cricket, who can come in down the order and knock a handy 30 without the pressure of strike-rate or boundary riders, and then bowl six or eight overs whilst the main guys are resting on the boundary until the new ball comes along. No place for them in t20.

Your success this season is giving a nice distraction from our own t20 campaign!

Worryingly, I'm starting to feel as though we can compete with the better teams, atm...... foolish of me, I know

Whether we can compete with the best teams (ie the south group) remains to be seen

I wonder if success is being rewarded at the ticket office?

Last year was so desperate that I couldn't have blamed anyone for not bothering to turn up and part with their money..... jeepers it was grim.... as Notts might find out next year if and when Coughlin returns to fitness

Crowds have looked good to me - uncertain forecasts for the last 2 games probably led to reduced numbers but apparently advance ticket sales for the competitions were higher than ever.
