Your boys could do with a wicket.

Yep. On my way down. New ball must have been taken and, needless to say, it needs to do the trick...and fairly quickly!

That's the problem with not having a proper spinner.

Even if sometimes you have to carry him.

Yep. Day 4 pitch and good weather. Should be ideal for spin bowling but Trevaskis seems to be a batsman who bowls.
Still some time and runs to play with but at the very least I think we need two wickets in the first hour after lunch.

Rushy has been pretty anonymous in this match but he's not usually kept quiet for that long so hopefully he can spring into life soon.
Suppose in a funny way the pressure might grow on Leicestershire the closer they get to safety. They probably started off with no expectations so no real pressure. Now they have a game to save.

No sign of a wicket but I think they're changing the ball!

Finally Trevaskis strikes but the lead is just 51 so he needs to strike a few more times - and quickly.
57 overs left.

A bit of cloud cover and Raine strikes. Only trouble is it looks as if rain might also strike!
Deficit is 30. 44 overs left.

Looking like a lot to do. I suppose if they get Cosgrove it could end quickly.

Rimmington has got a wicket and still 35 overs left but Cosgrove is still going strong. Never looked like getting out either.
Tea now so 35 overs left, 4 wickets needed and the deficit is 4.

Cosgrove nearly run out. That missed chance might be costly!

Great effort by Cosgrove for a CC match.

O'Shaunessy has a history of making controversial decisions when standing in games involving Durham which invariably go against Durham. 1st class Umpires are very well salaried(£51k plus expenses per annum) yet there is no creditable monitoring of their performance.
Appointments are invariably sinecures for ex-players. Typifies the 'jobs for the boys" practise prevalent within FTECB.

Yep. The one time he gets his head down and battles had to be against us! Superb effort.
Pitch was offering very little but that was still a poor effort by Trevaskis- no real threat whatsoever despite having a last day pitch and an opposition in trouble. Carse was outstanding for most of the match but couldn't quite maintain his form until the end - although he had very little support from the other seamers. Think the limitations of this seam attack were exposed on a good pitch.
