Scary thing is the first innings score is decent by our standards. I should have known bettee than to contemplate bonus points.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that Colly has got some runs when for once he wasn't in against the new ball. This time the dreaded collapse came after we'd miraculously seen it off without too much damage. The top order batting was poor last year but Steel and Clark at least ensured he wasn't always in the firing line.

Terrible start ( surprise surprise ) with Colly out straight away but McCarthy and Sakisbury have taken us past 250 and the deficit is just 50 now.
Forecast suggests there might be poor weather around from lunchtime throughout the afternoon.

292 all out so a shame not to get 300 but a deficit of just 18 on first innings against the leaders is pretty good. Excellent from McCarthy and Salisbury.
Bad news is Martin Emmerson says it's getting gloomy - that suggests the poor forecast for this afternoon might be accurate.

That's what I was thinking. Don't remember him getting many at the Riverside either so he must be due.
