The issue with this lineup is Colly's awful form was a surprise given his class and recent record but there's a good argument to be made that the rest of them struggling so badly is no surprise at all given their records!

this might be the perfect time for the Brigadier

and they haven't even had to bring out the spinner yet, on a pitch where Axar has just taken 7 wickets

at this rate they might not need to bother

Has all the makings of another fiasco. Might have to start the rain dance now ahead of Archer and co's visit next week.

20 overs to go

64-5

not a *modded* hope of coming away with something

Perfectly timed by Warks.... clearly they know what our team is worth even better than we do

Hopeless. And yet all too predictable. Might not even make 80 let alone 100.

What makes it even worse is Clark was caught on the boundary playing a hook shot.

although his strike rate is low, so it must have just been there to hit

Axar pushing on at over a run a ball, so we really need Colly to see us to the close of play

Apparently the second X1 are 9 down with about 4 overs left. A draw will mean they win the title.

Colly gone now and there are still almost 7 overs left to go.

But the last pair for the seconds have survived so we've won the Second X1 Championship. Think they batted out 8 overs or so ...although we were fortunate it rained most of the day because I think we started it 7 down with plenty of runs required.
