Yes, flat pitch - although Leicestershire were without Wright for all of the second innings and most of the first and Hendricks for the second innings.

Surprised Leach didn't get a bowl.

Somerset groundskeeper up to his old tricks? He'll have to be careful... the ECB have got their beady eye on Taunton pitches

With some exceptions, I generally get the feeling we are seeing more batting positives so far this season than in recent years. Some runs finally being scored

Presume Durham will declare overnight.

much good it will do us. Left the declaration far too late. We could have had 8 or 10 overs at them last night when everyone was tired and shagged out after a particularly long squawk gruelling day.

If we'd set Leics 340 to win that would have needed a record breaking run chase for them to do it. Instead we set them nearly 400 and farted about for the best part of an hour last night

I think Leics are more than capable of batting all day to save this match and they got a bit of practice doing it last week when Worcs thought they could knock Leics over on the final day

Yes, I thought that was a mistake.

Yorkshire have managed to make potentially exciting finish out of what was shaping to be a comfortable win.

2/2 defeats for Somerset looks ominous.

Yorks complete their win. Made hard work of it though

SR went up markedly towards the end.... were they in danger of running out of time, or just accelerating to the finish line?

both over quickly as well. They've barely played 4 days of cricket across the 2 matches

Better second day for Yorks. Still no Benco.

Dolly carries his bat again. 2 hundreds under his belt in 3 innings and yet to be dismissed this season

easy this batting malarky. Either that or captaincy suits him

I wonder if Worcs would be prepared to swap him for Borthwick?
