blimey... Lancs have won their last 7 t20 matches at the riverside

that's a shocking statistic and shows just how far behind them we are

I wonder how many times we've won there? The only one that springs to my mind was the Albie Morkel game, although we might have won one other more recently.

They looked like the best team we hosted, so good luck to them.

I wonder if we can pay to go too? I suppose we can... more the merrier probably

tickets for their members cost £10 and the club will provide transport free f charge...... that sounds like a good deal to me

Yep. I think I'll go to the game. Think the last win against them was when they fell apart against the spin bowling of Trevaskis and, for once , echoed us in somehow snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!

Lancs realised from the start of T20 that pace off the ball was the way forward; the penny has finally dropped with us but we still underbowl Steel. Difficulty is our batters still haven't a clue how to play slow bowling.
I reckon mutual sponsors dictated Lancs played at Riverside-they still get the advantage of ground advertising on TV.

That might well be it. Martin Emmerson suggested it's sort of home advantage anyway since they've won 7 in row here!

Aye but they're not playing Durham this time. :)

Yep! The opposition rather than conditions are responsible for that record!

definitely.

I think I'll go to that as well.... why not!

I've only been to one T20 QF and that was the Glammy game after Yorks were docked points for playing Rafiq in a previous game and it then transpired that they hadn't registered him. The toss was weird because the Glammy capt (Bermudan player... I forget his name) waited until the coin had landed, stared at it lying on the floor and then called it. Unsurprisingly he won the toss, but we won the game

Hemp... David Hemp

I have a stop/start memory these days

Jack the lad would have remembered his name nee bother!

We'd have lost the toss in those circumstances.

I might have overlooked it but there doesn't seem to be any mention of this QF on the website or in any tweets.
I guess its because the date has yet to be confirmed.

Sky decide the dates only after who plays who has been confirmed and at what venues.

I think one game is a Saturday ( or Sunday?) afternoon. Wonder if it'd make sense for 'our' game to be played then as both sets of supporters will have to travel. It seems logical but that means little these days.

Sod both sets of supporters-it's what suits Sky.

Yep. There have been more than enough football games scheduled at ridiculous times because of TV demands.
