doubtless that means we'll try and get him back by offering him the captaincy

Well he couldn't be any worse than Badger.
We need cover in the bowling department.

That'll be your "captain sensible" you appear to be defending.
Sorry. Wasn't aware that you had to be a graduate on the subject to pass an opinion.

Robinson signing confirmed - 3 year deal.
Think that's quite a coup - cricinfo mentioned a while back that several counties were interested in him. Before the RL50 final the Sky commentators were talking about his batting and mentioned that umpires rate him exceptionally highly as a keeper too.

We've given them some deserved stick for some poor recruitment but this is probably one that no one should complain about. Obviously no guarantees that he will succeed but it'd be a big surprise if he doesn't.

Yes, according to Atherton it's likely to be the end of Lees's England career whereas Potts is absent because conditions won't suit his type of bowling.
Lees maybe a bit unlucky because I thought he had shown just about enough to keep his place.

Rushworth is leaving! " Personal circumstances." He seems at pains to point out that it's not for cricketing reasons so I wonder what has happened!

I've just spotted this in the news. I wonder what has happened?

He's been a terrific servant, but perhaps with the latest ECB priorities it's a case of 'ask not for whom the bell tolls', because if you're not a 90mph fast bowler or a legspinner, 'it tolls for thee'
