Just noticed the new loanee has a FC bowling average of 41.6 and a List A one of 67! Hopefully that's just because he hasn't played too many games and not the reason why he hasn't played too many games.
Described as right arm fast on Wikipedia so hopefully he is quick.

Nige said he's examined them both and can't find anything wrong with either Rushy's shoulder nor with McCarthy 's groin :d'oh:

I suspect he's here on Rimington's recommendation -team mates at Perth.

Still plenty of time to make amends but on the evidence so far this bowling attack is not fit for purpose. Wickets falling in all bar one of the other games and yet Derby are motoring along.

100 partnership and a dropped catch by Markram. Could be the second successive game where we fail to take a wicket in the first session after deciding to bowl. Either poor decision making or poor bowling - or both!
Perhaps Wood & Dixon will improve after lunch once they shake off the rust.
