21 overs tonight and, if the weather forecast stays as it is, about another 50 overs tomorrow to get these 10 wickets. Tough ask at the Rose Bowl.

Sadly no Trott at no.8 this time.

Trott must be tired, bound to lose concentration at some point.

Very average days play, can't see us winning from here, but Atleast we won't lose, which we easily could have at 31/3

Warks' day. Strong chance that they will come away with a draw now. Going into today I wanted them four down in their second innings as a minimum, but ideally five or more.

There is clearly a sizeable difference between needing eight wickets with a lead of 186, and needing five or six wickets with a lead of 250. And that's the case whether we get 40 overs tomorrow or 96 overs or something in between.

Abbott gets Bell, but time running out, need a clatter of wickets sharpish.

Been drizzling here all morning.

Watching the rain map closely! Seems to be wave after wave of rain approaching Southampton that then breaks up and disperses at the last minute.
Here's hoping Hampshire have enough time for 6 more wickets.

BBC forecast has brought the rain forward by a couple of hours, if it is going to come then I'd rather it comes now than later when Warwickshire are 9 down!

Obviously I'd rather it all keeps missing the Rosebowl for the rest of the day, doing one of those strange IOW sheltering things!

Abbott gets Hain, not sure how many more overs he's got left in him in this spell?
