Trying to convince myself the game is being played at an outground and score of 230+ is defendable.

Ideal scenario is for Notts and Durham to run away with the top 2 to allow a scrap for 3rd spot.

I think it's usually a good pitch at SN, going by the commentary it sounds as if most wickets were from poor shots with Steel run out after stumbling out of the crease as Lancs were appealing for lbw!

All too predictable, against that attack our chances of a good total were probably dependent on Bancroft. Gifting wickets doesn't help but I suppose good bowling leads to mistakes - we saw on Sunday how they threatened to fall apart in farcical style towards the end , and they weren't under any pressure there!

Although one glimmer of hope is I've checked last years game on this ground and Durham won despite being bowled out for 209 by Worcestershire - although it was a rain effected game so perhaps overhead conditions were behind the low scores. Worcs lost 4 wickets before the rain arrived and lost on DL by 10 runs. Probably an unlucky defeat because they had recovered from 40/4 to 82/4 so the chances are they'd have won if another over or two had been bowled.

210/9 - can Salisbury help Lees through to his century?

Yes he can! :clap
According to Martin Emmerson he's only the second Durham player to score a one day hundred against Lancs - 27 years after Dean Jones.

 Bet that went down well! Out for 115 and Lancs need 230 to win, I think we're well short but he has given the bowlers something to work with.

Despite the early wicket Croft is off to a flyer, need quick wickets - preferably 9!

Durham are reining it in somewhat, how quickly the partnership of Croft and Vilas can be broken remains to be seen. Lancashire's tail looks particularly long after Bohannon though required run-rate is not an issue.

Yep. They do look vulnerable down the order, nip a couple out soon and they might wobble.
