I guess 10pm is the cut off or can they go on longer?

It's 10pm at Durham but I don't know if that's because of the playing rules or if it is a local issue where the floodlights can stay on until 10.

Oh well no more play today.

I guess if we could take two quick wickets early tomorrow we could set a target at some point, say 230 off 40 overs, and with the way that Somerset have folded today there is a remote chance we could get a win.

Obviously at this point the draw is massively odds on.

Like all matters FTECB playing conditions are very secretive, changed at will, and not readily divulged to the paying supporter. They 're probably on their website but secreted away not easily accessable. I believe play cannot go on after 7pm normally which will translate to 10.00pm for this round of games.

64 run lead, can we set a target?

It's raining here, again, but that doesn't seem to effect things down the road.

19/0 after 10 overs suggests an early handshake a some point.

I guess with a gap in the table to be maintained we were always going to take the cautious approach first.

Looks like we'll sneak into third place on the basis of head to head points!

It might turn out that way but not by design.

Run rate has gone marginally but still not sure what the plan is with 53 overs left in the day.

Two run outs is pretty poor stuff.

What do we reckon then? 200 off 40 is too getable or just tempting enough?

I don't want to jinx if for Hampshire but the way Somerset have been batting lately might mean they hope they don't have to try and bat today for any substantial period! 150 may already be enough.
