Well they have finished strongly. Excellent from Turner and de Leede but 172 doesn't seem like a great score these days and our bowling has a few issues.

Power play bowling terrible again. A problem that seems to have no solution. We're going to either have to start making scores of about 30 above par or hope the bowlers in the middle overs work miracles.

This game is done and dusted. Some ridiculous scores elsewhere- four 200 plus totals ( and 250 plus from Surrey) and yet Birmingham look certain to defend 137!

nothing in it for Sowter today. Just shows how dependent we are on him taking wickets. If he doesn't do it, then the opposition just get on a roll. I doubt we'll see many 149 run stands in this competition
