Going to Scarborough today to see the game v N'hant, would have been the ideal way to get through my 52nd birthday with the minimum of fuss. But the forecast is horrendous.

I see once again given the choice of televising a T20 Blast game or a RL cup game, SKY go T20. I suspect that Royal London will not be extending their sponsorship of this competition beyond the existing contract period. The ECB and SKY have treated this format and the sponsors with contempt.

Yorkshire complete a crushing victory by bowling the Red Rose out for 84, winning by 242 runs.

After a shambolic performance against Worcestershire last week, all of a sudden Yorkshire are looking promising for knockout qualification. Still a long way to go like, but I feel Yorkshire have a better chance of 50 over success than 20 over largely due to player availability.

I think everyone gets confused with the fixtures thanks to the seemingly random scheduling of both one day competitions. They're are also 4 day games in both divisions starting today.
