We've signed Ryan McLaren who will replace Bird for the rest of the season after today.

Just when Bird comes into a bit of form, but still sounds like a very good signing.

Middx bowled out quickly this morning. Sussex need 265 to win. Raining at Worcester where Notts were cruising to victory.

Wait was that Mclaren won't be here till September? So we'll only be fielding 1 overseas in Arafat for the t20 on Friday then? What's this about having to play in the group stages of the competition to play in the KO's that Kevan James was talking about on solent, there's been a few cases of overseas being pulled in for the KO's in previous years if I remember correctly.

That rule certainly applies in the 50 over competition because Durham were prevented from playing Varon Aaron, Hasting' s replacement, in last year's final.

40 runs and over 12 overs this partnership has been going, frustrating or what!
