That's a very good idea.

He can be expensive.Went for 61 in 13 overs on Saturday,at Brandon v Maisforth, but did take five wickets. So far this season 48 wickets ,SR 22.13 econ 3.53.Av 13.(In cup (45 over) and league only.)

Thanks. I thought he'd be outstanding at that level but looks as if he isn't. Perhaps a few coaches are keeping an eye on him or maybe he is not interested in a return to FC cricket.

And now Footitt has left Surrey. Couldn't settle in London.

Matt Quinn ruled out for the season, for Essex, with back injury.

Sensible precaution-more mental than physical I suspect.

Real shame. Was a great limited overs opener for us in the late 2000s, and to this day has still played the best t20 innings I have seen live (a century vs Essex).

His opening partnership with Adams, coupled with Cork and Dimi's opening partnership with the ball, was the reason for us being one-day champions in 2009.

Only in England would a player be a useful launch pad for t20 world cup success, bang a century in odi, and then be dropped 2 match later never to return.

Averaged 55 in a terrible odi team :facepalm

What a waste. He was such a dangerous bat

agree with both of those comments.

I think his partnership with Kieswetter was a key part of why England won their only global trophy.

Yes, was never obvious why he was dropped when he was from either limited overs side. He was given little chance in ODIs yet scored a ton in three goes. England mostly went for Cook and Bell at that time. Bell did ok, but Cook was in the horrors, though by the time he stepped down, England moved on to Hales.

Looks a stunning hundred for David Willey. Over two runs per ball.

Karl Carver, two overs for 47 runs! But a big win for Yorks. Pretty tight in the northern group.

I think 37 of them were in one over- Ross Whitely his 6 sixes and there was an extra!

The lower part of the table has a bit of an unusual look.
