The Bears have signed Richard Jones from Worcs on a one year deal. Doesn't strike me as a first team bowler.

Pop Walsh is going to work the Oracle and make him into a top bowler.

To be fair OHD being limited to one game by a broken wrist and then a stress fracture means there might be more to come!

Jones has been signed as cover, primarily in case we lose Rankin a few times. One thing Jones has going for him is a phenomenal strike rate- 44.9 is up there with the best.

His loan spell last season from Worcs wasn't the best though - managed to get a season-ending injury in the nets from the first - and only ball - he bowled as a Bear. Oops.

What an incredible signing! I wonder why CA would let him play a season of CC.
I always say that everybody's right.

Would have thought Harry Gurney or Luke Fletcher's place are under threat before Ajmal's, unless he had another strop.

Very good signing, no two ways about it.

Shahzad may be regretting leaving us when he warms benches and plays in the stiffs next season.

Wasn't in 2013 - 22 wickets at 50.

Fletcher and Gurney both took over 40 wickets at 30.

Shaz is still living off one decent season in his entire career tho I like him for turning down Warwickshire. Phew.
