Further reorganisation of CC according to legsidelizzie.
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/coun ... 55937d5d0b
Basically a 3 conference CC with 6 sides in each conference i.e. further reduction to 10 matches per season.

The Kent management have handled this situation unbelievably badly. Making Northeast sign a new contract and if he doesn't then strip him from captaincy, as he didn't sign, they are now letting him leave. And then now appointing Billings as captain. Out of the whole squad, Billings is available for the fewest number of matches. He's either at the IPL or in the England ODI/T20 squads.

usual suspects are Sorry, Yorks, Notts and Lancs all of whom seem determined to hoover up every player in the county championship

I'm sure JJB will persuade him to come to the North East!

Yes but did I read that Alan Donald was coming as bowling coach?-and it's in that department that Kent's problems lie.

Well he was suppose to come last year as assistant/bowling coach but we only realised at the last minute that he wasn't a qualified coach. Not sure if he's got his qualification yet.

Must have been pretty confident of getting it. Yet he was regarded as sufficiently qualified to coach England yet not a county.
