Alex Hales hit 87 from 32 today in the same competition so there's both test openers sorted!

I have no idea who Nay is, but I like the idea of sending 3 batsmen out... just have to hope that the umpires can't count. 2 bats at the strikers end ought to help keep Henry, Pattinson and Abbas out of the wickets in the first 20 overs

need to be a leftie and a rightie, probably

Nay probably makes way for Bancroft if he can't get straight back into the test team

Nay is a local idiom for no or a denial, D/F. The comment was meant tongue in cheek.

interestingly, they plan to modify the bats used for the 'flip'

as if T20 hasn't modified bats enough already

Its a bizarre change, no? What special significance does throwing a bat in the air have?

When I first saw it mentioned I assumed it was a spoof satirising the obsession with gimmicks!
