That is what squads are for, of course

I assume that's tongue in cheek but unfortunately we've got a very small squad.

even blooming smaller now and given that we are talking during the Test and lions season, smaller still

we might be lucky to field 11 players during the school holidays

A masterstroke of a signing, especially when quality Overseas signings are difficult to attract due to the Twenty20 competition lasting 10 weeks rather than 5 weeks.

Counties will struggle to match such a high quality signature, this even surpasses Surrey's efforts in retaining the beloved and statistically inferior Kevin Pietersen.

Are KP & Graeme Smith still best pals? Assuming Smith returns for year 2 of his 3 year deal I'm sure he will have great fun captaining one of his favourite characters ;)

Sky haven't announced their live TV games yet as far as I am aware.

Unless I'm looking in the wrong place they're cutting it a bit fine.

I've not checked Sky's website, but looking at the t20 fixture list on the BBC, I'd have thought it's pretty safe to assume that the random non-Friday t20s, where only one game is staged that particular day, are on Sky.

They certainly are, could do with knowing what time the Lancs-Yorks T20 on 6th June as it's either 5pm, 6.30pm or 7pm.

Great that today we can back to what cricket's all about, let's hope for some tight exciting games.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Onions,Wood and Morley added to last CC side with Ben obviously excluded. Would it be too much of a risk to play both Bunny and Woody?

Beautiful weather in September and County Championship matches are played when most of the public are at work, the ECB should really schedule September matches over the weekend.
