In the first match, Jamaica beat defending champions Windward Islands by 14 runs in an unusually high-scoring match. Jamaica first made 282-5 off their 50 overs, Andre McCarthy topscoring with 93 and former captain Tamar Lambert hitting 88, while Andre Russell and Carlton Baugh chipped in with quickfire 28s, pacer mervin Matthew taking 3-33.

Despite a 100 not out from Keddy Lesporis, and Devon Smith making 52, the Windwards could only manage 268-8, thanks to spin twins Nikita Miller (3-35) and Lambert (2-32).

Ramnaresh Sarwan blasted 89 not out off just 62 balls, to lead Guyana to 301-3, Shiv Chanderpaul making 79, and Tevon Griffith 62, while Christopher Barnwell and Leon Johnson had useful cameos at the end of the innings. Andrew Poynter was the only batsman to offer any resistance with 59 as Ireland struggled to 187 all out, pacers Paul Wintz (3-30) and Ronsford Beaton (2-41) doing the damage, while Narsing Deonarine chipped in with two wickets of his own.

The CCC registered a convincing 160-run win over the Leewards, whose sorry run in domestic cricket continues from last season....

Anthony Alleyne topscored for the CCC with 54, as the CCC made 240 all out, pacer Gavin Tonge taking 3-43 and spinner Anthony Martin 3-33. In reply, the Leewards were reeling at 36-9, until Lionel Baker hit 31 not out to take them to a more respectable 80 all out. Medium pacer Kyle Mayers (4-25) and Raymon Reifer (3-15) did the damage.

Jonathan Carter hit 109 and Dwayne Smith 83, to lead Barbados to a 28-run win over intense rivals Trinidad. The Bajans posted 269-8 off 45 overs in their rain-affected match, while medium pacer Rayad Emrit took 4-50. There were 40s from Darren Bravo and Denesh Ramdin, but Trinidad were bowled out for 241 by spinner Suleimann Benn (4-39) and pacer Jason Holder (3-29).

John Campbell hits 71 to lead Jamaica to a six wicket win with more than 20 overs to spare. Ireland are really being outclassed in this tournament.

Earlier, Andre Russell took 3-19 and Jerome Taylor, on his comeback, 3-33, to dismiss Ireland for a paltry 161, Niall O'Brien topscoring with 35.

Guyana win by 22 runs, and along with Jamaica, they march into the semi-finals...the defending champions are out!

Pacer Ronsford Beaton took 3-43 and left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul 3-24 to dismiss the Windwards for 213, as only Johnson Charles, Tyrone Theophile and Keddy Lesporis offered any resistance with 30s.

Earlier, Ramnaresh Sarwan topscored with 62, and there were 51s from Asad Fudadin and Chris Barnwell, in Guyana's score of 235-7 on a pitch that is becoming increasingly difficult for batting. Pacer Mervin Mathew took 4-41 for the Windwards.

In a match played in Tobago, Trinidad trounced the Leewards by five wickets with more than 20 overs to spare. Devon Thomas hit 42, and Jahmar Hamilton 39, as Leewards were bowled out for 140 by spinner Sunil Narine (4-16) and pacer Ravi Rampaul (4-20). However, Trinidad lost cheap wickets chasing this total, and eventually reached the small target thanks to a knock of 42 from captain Dwayne Bravo. Pacer Gavin Tonge took 3-38.
