Can't get much more dramatic than that.

Six!

I think I dislike Fraser more than Moores.

And a declaration. Presume they checked that. If they lasted the over out, they could have put on some runs. Too risky?

Wondered about the declaration. I presume it's legitimate. It would spoil it for the neutral if they had to bat the remaining four balls only for the 9th wicket to go down and end it as a contest.

Well, with the bonus points out of the way, we just need to win.

Indeed, though I envisage that Middlesex will bat it out.

Couple of early wickets would set up quite the day's play.

They have some dangerous lower order batsmen, held Durham up in both games but whether they'll be able to do so under this pressure is doubtful. Think if you get those 2 early wickets they might collapse. Will still be a nervy run chase though!

My money is on Middlesex but strange things do happen in September.

I'm not confident, but we've at least given ourselves the chance to do this.

I'm almost hoping we do go down and the axes are brought out to sort the squad out.

perhaps.... but hey, what a climax to the season!

I think your boys can take a lot of credit for keeping their season alive, right up to the final day. Middlesex only saved themselves by the skin of their teeth. They were lucky to get away with it really.

disappointed that Kerrigan couldn't turn things your way on a day 4 pitch.. perhaps his arm is too straight? ;)

Is it reasonable to assume that Chappie will move upstairs permanently now?

I was rooting for you

I suppose the priority now will be replacing Chappie and Kyle Hogg, and getting shot of the dead wood like Kabir. It'll be interesting to see if Prince reverses his retirement decision.

Would any of Northants cast off's be of any use to you

Or Gareth Breese?
