Leicestershire are like Ireland in some ways, losing their best talent to the opposition.

Difficult to create a competitive team when their best players either retire or move on, only to be predominantly replaced by those from within. Leicestershire need at least two proven batsmen in the domestic game and two bowlers, just to help their relatively young and inexperienced players develop as cricketers.

Money won't be much an issue with the current exodus freeing up wages, most of the signings listed would do well to find a new club and stay there for a decent amount of time.

Available to sign if not to play. Been out for a year with injury. From their statement, it sounds like Middlesex will resign him if he can prove his fitness in the new year.
