Mills, jordan, Zaidi... good bowlers, but Sussex still lack another quality seamer..

Very unproven attack apart from Magoffin. Jordon centrally contracted, Mills unproven and injury prone, and at 33 years old and a total of only 78 1st class wkts you have to wonder where Saudi has been all these years.

He spent three years playing in the Lancashire leagues.

He's played a fair amount of games, bob on 100 FC matches, most of which were in Pakistan where he played for 10 seasons without looking like ever having had a gaurenteed spot in a side. Just looking at the stats he didn't bowl much in his games in Pakistan.

His low wicket tally is rather odd considering he's taken nearly 30 for Sussex in under 2 seasons, I can only assume he was more a batter than a bowler earlier on.

given the un-proven attack, i wonder if we will see Luke Wright maybe bowl a bit more next season..?

Good signing, off to the bookies to place a bet on Sussex winning the 2015 County Championship.

And that's why bookies are rich AP!
18wkts at 40 last season,22at 49 previous, thrown out of Yorkshire through lack of discipline. I'd be distinctly underwhelmed if I was a Sussex supporter, even more so if I was an up and coming bowler at Sussex.
You obviously saw something is his Yorkshire days but he appears to have gone backwards since then.
Both he and Mills seem a heck of a gamble.

sometimes gambles pay off, WL. Are both Shazhad and Mills not a bit injury prone too?

Very rarely bookies favourites win the County Championship and I expect an outsider to win it next year.

Chris Jordan came to Sussex with less credentials than Shazhad, looks what he has achieved in a short space of time. Notts aren't exactly known for devloping talent, they like the ready made player.

Both Mills and Shahzad have an excellent mentor in Magoffin that's if Shahzad,in particular is prepared to take his advice. Certainly be interseing to watch how it pans out.

Shazhad doesn't quite have time on his side so he has no other option but to take advice from Robinson and Magoffin if he wants to pursue England ambitions.
