maybe even Jon Lewis'

bit annoyed that I only found out about Chris Nash's ruptured appendix 5 mins after the bloody toss. He won't be contributing to my FL team for several weeks

5 bloody minutes :angry

Likely to miss the second match, back for the third DFM. There was rumours he would play against Warwickshire but those seem to have disappeared, as we have a big gap between match 2 and 3.

Pretty annoying really, but in the last few weeks we lost Amjal Khan after he was released through injury, we lost Nash, Luke Wright is injured, Chris Jordan isnt back yet, and no Rory.....

Going to be fun when Machlan, Joyce and Prior are getting international call ups.

As far as I am aware he was not expected to make the seasons first couple of matches, and as Sussex had already agreed he would be off for the IPL but he didnt get signed, they told him he could take the games away from the side till his wife gave birth. Pretty sure she was expected before that though because he did say the advantage of missing the T20 was the fact he could go to his wifes side, even he didnt believe they would make the semis if se was due later.... did he/

In these games I should have three pace bowlers of my Div1 team in action but two are injured and the other is lying on a beach in Oz sunning himself.

Rain appears to be the order of the day pretty well everywhere today. :(

When it comes to playing in the wet, it looks like the counties haven't been inspired much by the T20WC.

Looking out the window, I'm quite surprised Notts are on the field.

Bloody rain. At least Ansari's aggressive batting will secure a result.... :facepalm :facepalm

On a positive note, I have Allenby in my FL team. But then I think everyone does.

They say if you want it to rain during a drought - start a cricket match.

I have both of those too. Felt patriotic when selecting. The way the weather's going/the way Ansari's batting, Goodwin won't get a bat.

The cricket season has started and Sky have still not released their live match schedule.
