Only three men and a dog usually turn up to watch these matches....

They had a draft a couple of days ago, allowing teams to pick outside of their nationalities, but aside from Sarwan to Trinidad, and Reifer to Guyana, all the other picks were their own nationalities!

Yep...and it used to be the Red Stripe Cup before that, and the Shell Shield before that.

Kraigg Brathwaite hit 115 not out, and he was assisted with an unbeaten 50 from wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich, as Barbados reached 209-4 at stumps on the opening day of their four-day game against Trinidad, for whom pacer Marlon Richards has taken three wickets so far.

Narsing Deonarine hit 73 not out, and veteran Shiv Chanderpaul 45, to guide Guyana to 230-5 on the first day of their match against the Leewards, pacer Gavin Tonge taking two wickets to date.

A total of 13 wickets fell on the opening day at Sabina Park, as Jamaica were bowled out for 208, Nikita Miller topscoring with 57 not out. Left-arm spinner Alston Bobb took 6-45. At stumps on the first day's place, the Windwards were reeling at 16-3, all three wickets falling to pacer Marquino Mindley.

Guyana are in complete command of their match at Providence at the halfway stage. Veteran Narsing Deonarine hit 110 not out to pilot the hosts to 343 all out, and there was another 40-odd from keeper Anthony Bramble, against pacer Gavin Tonge's 4-60. Pacer Ronsford Beaton, and spinners Veerasammy Permaul and Dev Bishoo, then took three wickets each to dismiss the Leewards for a paltry 94 all out, tailender Anthony Martin topscoring with 25. The Leewards were asked to follow on.

It was a similar story at Queen's Park Oval, where Kraigg Brathwaite was finally out for 182 in the Bajans' total of 360, pacer Marlon Richards and legspinner Imran Khan taking three wickets each. Medium pacer Carlos Brathwaite then took three wickets as Trinidad were left reeling on 89-7 at stumps on the second day, and also in danger of following on.

Wickets continued to tumble at Sabina Park, as 16 went down on Day Two. Debutant pacer Marquino Mindley took 5-35 and left-arm spinner Nikita Miller 4-25 to dismiss the Windwards for an embarrassing 110 all out, tailender Alston Bobb topscoring with 36 not out. With a lead of just under 100, Jamaica did not bat much better the second time around, reaching 148-9 at stumps. Nkrumah Bonner topscored with 41, while the main destroyer was left-armer Bobb again, with 5-46.

It was a day of contrasting fortunes yesterday. At Sabina Park, the Jamaica innings was swiftly wrapped up, all out for 162, setting the Windwards a modest total of 261 to win. Thanks to veteran Devon Smith's 74, the Windwards were coasting to victory at 91 without loss, and then 173-2, when the fall of Smith's wicket saw eight wickets go down for just 64 runs. Legspinner Damion Jacobs took 7-72 to hand Jamaica a narrow 13-run win.

At Providence, Guyana easily defeated the Leewards by an innings and 10 runs on the third day. Chasing 249 to make the hosts bat again, the Leewards were bowled out for 239 in their second innings by legspinner Dev Bishoo (4-67), Jahmar Hamilton topscoring with 74.

Trinidad were battling for survival at Queen's Park Oval, having taken Barbados into a final day's play. Left-arm spinner Joeml Warrican took 4-12 to dismiss the Trinidadians for a paltry 96 in their first innings, Yannick Cariah topscoring with 26. Needing 265 to avoid an innings defeat, the visitors were 165-3 at stumps the second time around, Evin Lewis having hit 61.

Rain wreaked havoc on the opening day of all three matches in Round Two. No play at all was possible between Barbados and Jamaica at Lucas Street. At Providence, Narsing Deonarine continued his good form by hitting 79 not out in Guyana's score of 168-3. At Warner Park, legspinner Imran Khan has taken three wickets so far to have the Leewards reeling at 133-6.

For the second day running, play was washed out in Barbados without a ball being bowled. However, at Warner Park the Leewards took a rare first innings lead after 14 wickets fell on the first day's play. Legspinner Imran Khan finished with 4-83 as the Leewards were bowled out for a paltry 202, with 34s coming from Akeem Saunders and Jeremiah Louis. But Trinidad did even worse at their turn at bat, being skittled out for a mere 130 all out, Yannick Cariah topscoring with 43 not out while five Leewards bowlers took two wickets each.

Narsing Deonarine hit 139, his second century of the season, and he was supported by Shiv Chanderpaul with 62, but there was not much else, as Guyana were bowled out for 291 by medium-pacer Kenroy Peters (5-36) on the second day's play. The Windwards were 63-2 at stumps at the halfway stage.

For the third day running, the day's play in Barbados was washed out without a ball being in bowled. At Warner Park, on another day of tumbling wickets, 12 went down. Leading by 72 runs on first innings, the Leewards were tumbled out for a paltry 130 by legspinner Imran Khan (6-13), Austin Richards topscoring with 42. Set 203 to win, Trinidad reached 95-2 at stumps on the penultimate day, thanks to Yannick Ottley's 40 not out.

Following up on his first innings century, offspinner Narsing Deonarine took 5-24 and left-armer Veerasammy Permaul chipped in with three wickets, to dismiss the Windwards for a mere 184, captain Liam Sebastien topscoring with 54. Leading on first innings by 107 runs, Guyana reached the end of the third day's play on 133-5, pacer Mervin Mathew with three wickets so far. Deonarine was out for a rare failure of 34, while veteran Shiv Chanderpaul was 31 not out.

Guyana snatched a 92-run win in their final hour of play. Shiv Chanderpaul topscored with 44 in their second innings total of 175-6 declared, setting the Windwards a target of 283 to get on the final day. They never got close, being bowled out for 190 by left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul (8-36), veteran Devon Smith topscoring with 55.

Trinidad easily chased down their target of 203 against the Leewards for the loss of just four wickets, Yannick Ottley hitting 76 not out and Jason Mohammed 56. In a farcical match at Lucas Street, only half a day's play was possible, with Jamaica making 111-4 declared, thanks to a 59 from Shacoya Thomas and two wickets to Jason Holder, while in reply Barbados made 6-2 declared, thus securing the extra bowling point.

Wicketkeeper Anthony Bramble topscored with 73 to drag Guyana to 261 all out at stumps on the opening day of the third round of their match at Providence. For Barbados, left-arm spinner Ryan Hinds took 4-50.

In a see-saw match Queens Park Oval, 15 wickets went down, with Jamaica recovering from 6-4 thanks to half-centuries from captain Tamar Lambert (87) and Dave Bernard (65), before collapsing again to 173 all out. Legspinner Imran Khan took 6-52. In reply, Trinidad provided their own collapse, succumbing to 59-5 at stumps, blown away by pacer Sheldon Cottrell, who has taken four wickets to date.

At St George's in Grenada, 13 wickets went down, as cellar dwellers Leewards were once again embarrassed, dismissed for a paltry 109, Austin Richards topscoring with 44. The damage was done by spinners Liam Sebastien (5-39) and Alston Bobb (4-31).

Jamaica took the advantage at the halfway stage of their match at Queens Park Oval, pacer Sheldon Cottrell taking 5-42 to dismiss Trinidad for a paltry 131, Imran Khan topscoring with 26. At stumps, Shacaya Thomas hit 46 as Jamaica reached 92-4, for an overal lead of 134 so far.

The Windward Islands had a stranglehold on their match at St George's against minnows Leewards. Veteran Devon Smith hit 145, and Rommel Currency 50 not out, as the Windwards declared on 308-5, pacer Jeremiah Louis finishing with three wickets. Trailing on first innings by 199 runs, the Leewards finished Day Two on 102-1, with opener Austin Richards still there on 42 not out.

On a rain-affected day at Providence, Barbados, replying to Guyana's 261 all out, limped to 33-2.

A total of 15 wickets fell on the third day at Providence, and they were all Barbadian. Replying to Guyana's 261, Barbados were dismissed for a paltry 101 by left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul's 8-26, Dwayne Smith topscoring with 32. Following on, the tourists limped to 214-7 at stumps, thanks to veteran Ryan Hinds (60 not out) and wicketkeeper Shane Dowrich (50). Legspinner Dev Bishoo has taken four wickets so far in the second innings.

The Windward Islands are also well-placed to force victory, chasing 136 on the final day. With a deficit of 199 runs on first innings, the Leewards batted much better in their second, before eventually being bowled out for 334 at stumps. Orlando Peters hit his first FC ton (104), and there was a half-century from Austin Richards, while left-arm spinner Liam Sebastien took 5-50.

The match at Queen's Park Oval is evenly balanced, with Trinidad going into the final day chasing a victory target of 239. Leading on first innings by 42 runs, Jamaica once again batted poorly, being dismissed for 196, debutant pacer Dennis St Clair taking three wickets. Shacaya Thomas and Nikita Miller hit 40s. Trinidad were 24-1 at stumps.
