Very good win today especially give Gloucs looked favourites to win at 100 for 2

There wer questions on here being asked of Javis pre season. He's picked up 47 wickets so far this season. The challenge for us is not promotion but building meaningful foundations.

Pretty good day, 100 run lead with solid contributions from most of the top order and six wickets in hand.

There must be a good chance of an innings victory.

Huge win against the Foxes. Another fifer for Javis giving him 9 wickets in the match and solid contributions from throughout the batting line up.

A decent points advantage over Surrey, though they have a game in hand and then daylight till the rest of the pack.

I don't know what the record points total is for division 2 winners but Lancs must be a good bet to beat the existing record.

Glam win today keeps Surrey just under 50 points behind with a game in hand.

Glamorgan seem to be having a decent season and must be one of the candidates for the second promotion spot?

Indeed, Glam have a game in hand over Surrey and are touching distance.

Couple of late wickets turn a very bad day at the office into just a bad one.

Need to polish off the last two cheaply then bat very well.

Given two stop start days, a very good recovery led by Captain Croft from 92 for 4 to 275 for 5. Skip and Faulk still there, with so many overs lost to rain it will be hard to force a result from here unless Essex decide to go the way of the Dodo.

your game with Essex doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Not a problem when you have the kind of cushion that you have

Really depends on if we want to make something of it or not. Try and push for a 350 lead before lunch then declare and see what happens.
