It would be entirely fitting for this season to end with a bouncer injuring one of our bowlers.... would sum up 2015.... an absolute disaster from every conceivable angle punctuated by injured bowlers and toothless top order batting.

Hanging on for that draw against Durham a few weeks back was important after all.

Interesting that in the final analysis Hampshire have the same W/L/D as Somerset but 20 less bonus points ..15 batting and 5 bowling.
Hampshire lowest bonus points (69) of Div 1 in fact. Need to do something about that next year.

Our first innings efforts have been pretty poor this season.

Hard luck to the Sussex posters online. Hard to take on the final throw of the dice. But congrats to the Hampshire mob at a pretty unpredictable turnaround. Fidel Edwards deserves a large slice of the cake.
I always say that everybody's right.

Luke Wright and Mags aside, the rest need to look at how they have performed this season. Congrats to Hampshire they wanted it more, the brave decision against Yorkshire showed that. Sussex have become far too negative and would never have taken a risk like that.

The 1st game of the season is a good case in point, a 200+ lead against Hampshire after the 1st innings and what do they do, instead of forcing the follow on they bat again, get bowled out horribly for 164 and came close to losing the match.

Would rather Somerset had gone down because as far as I'm aware there are no Somerset fans on this site, but there are at least two Sussex
